Women having lesbian sex are more likely to reach orgasm than those embarking on straight sex, according to a survey published today.
Researchers found that 76 per cent of women who slept with another woman reached orgasm, compared to only 69 per cent who slept with men.
The survey’s findings appeared in the Journal of Sex Research.
The research was carried out in Australia, where 19,000 people took part. Researchers claimed that the reason behind the findings was that men were selfish and concentrated mostly on themselves.
Three quarters of women questioned by the three universities to carry out the research admitted their most recent sexual activity involved some form of ‘manual stimulation’.
