Dubai is so very brown grey during the day when you are outside, but inside and at night it is all neon and flash. It’s a lot like Vegas, really. I’m glad I didn’t book a longer stay – I think this is probably a great place to come with friends or family and a big bankroll – but not a great destination for a solo traveler – although, I am enjoying the executive king room – booked with IHG points and then given a free upgrade. Thank you Bald Jesus.
