It occurred to me that some of you have not been on this journey with me from the beginning, so I want to take a moment to share my book writing career with you. At this point I have written more than twenty books and been a part of a number of anthology projects. Some of those books are sitting on ice because they are either so bad that I can’t bear to bring them to light or waiting for revision or a thorough reworking. In addition, a number of the books I’ve written were ghost written for other aspiring ‘authors’ who caught me early in my writing career, recognized my talent for words, and convinced me to write their stories – either personal or fanciful. When I think of how little I was willing to work for, it’s surprising that I didn’t make a career of that – but honestly, writing other people’s stories has never been my jam because I have too many of my own.
