Travel has been pretty good to me. Not only have I seen more of the world than most people get to in a lifetime, but through travel I was also able to meet my wife, make great friends, and have amazing adventures, but I’ve also managed to earn my living through doing what I love.
Right now, I’m going to stop traveling for a while and spend more time with my wife and our soon to be born daughter in Morocco. My goals right now are to 1) be a great husband and father 2) create a kick ass garden and 3) help other people to find the joy and wonder that I’ve found through travel.
Along the way, I’ve picked up quite a few skills and met some of the greatest guides, tour operators, and travelers that the world offers. I’ve discoverd amazing hostels, hotels, and hidden locations and met the people that make them a reality. The point of Vagobond has been to share that information, but I’ve realized recently, that what people really need is the chance to ask questions without being sold anything in the process.
And that’s what I’m creating here. If you are going somewhere I’ve been and you want to know what to do, who to meet, where to go, or how to get there, just ask. If you have a question about packing, gear, or anything at all, feel free to ask. If I don’t know, I’ll try to point you in the right direction.
