Aloha Mountain High – Hiking in Hawaii
There are a few things I miss on a daily basis. I miss Hawaii, the water, my friends, the temperatures, the tradewinds, and the lifestyle. I miss hiking in Hawaii. I also miss having great hiking within easy reach. I can hike in Morocco, but the foothills of the Atlas just aren’t the same as hiking in the Rockies, the Cascades, the Koolaus, or the Siskiyous. I also miss having great friends to hike with…with any luck all of that will be changing before too long.

Vago Damitio (@vagodamitio) is the Editor-in-Chief for Vagobond. He jumped ship from a sinking dotcom in 2000 and decided to reclaim his most valuable commodity, time.
